Golden Gai, Tokyo

The best way to end a long day in Tokyo, head for Golden Gai in Shinjuku!

That’s exactly what we did after our day commute to Toyota for a concert with Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Mitsuko Uchida.

With only 6 narrow alleys, and around 200 micro bars, mostly seating a handful of customers. No need to say, our group split up pretty quickly, and we spent the rest of the time chasing each other, sampling local drinks, attempting to translate jokes.
