Our last day in Shanghai for this year.
I decided to finally make my way to Yu gardens, starting with a stroll in the nearby alleyways, where I discovered a local pensioners’ choir in rehearsal, learning a new song, using solfège, a system where every note of a scale is given its own unique syllable. How unexpected to hear this in Shanghai!
Followed by the beauty of a Chinese garden on a rainy day…
And the last concert program, Mozart piano concerto with Haochen Zhang, followed by Bruckner’s 7th Symphony, and of course the farewell party!
